The excitement of the festive season has delighted Lovely Kates Little Monkeys as the begin rehearsals for there Musical theatre Christmas Perfromance. This years show is helping our youngest students (ages 3-6) to understand all the components that go with performing infront of an audience. The performers are learning the foundations of Musical theatre, from vocal projection and expressions to singing and dance, each of our performers are building their confidence with these newly aquired skills. As always in musical theatre shows there are also many aspects of the show that are quietly helping our young performers to understand parts of everyday life too. The childrens musical theatre performance this year explores the concept of family traditions, creating memories and most importantly understanding the emotions and feelings that these moments creat for all their characters.
Show rehearsals so far have given our young actors, singers and dancers the opportunity to choose which characters they might like to play as well as learning how the story affects there characters in this festive event.
Their show takes place on the 7th and 8th of December.
